What is wrong?!? Is it me or we just don't click? Hmm... That's why I chose to remain quiet.


Short talk: When I choose to remain quiet, pple think I'm not being sincere with them. And when I try to explain, pple think I'm trying to defend myself. Enough for the day. Quiet is what I've decided =)

I admit I'm greedy when it comes to eating good food. If the cookies are nice, you probably see an empty jar at the end of the day

Am a lazy bum at home BUT a "Maria" in hostel. I clean my hostel room infinity times

Never. Coz once I sleep, I sleeeeep. Even the house alarm also cant wake me up. I'm a pig!

I used to have a hamster but it died few years ago ='( I remember playing with Bobo everyday but cant remember how many times I bathe Bobo ler

Two times and that's the minimum. I cant stand seeing my teeth not getting an appropriate "bath"

Depends. Sometimes I skip breakfast and lunch. Minimum one meal per day

Convert pounds to kg and what do i get? Donolar... maths teacher in school never teach me this math

Uncountable! More than 20, I'd say. But I don't wear all. Take a look at my closet and you'll be shock to see mountains of jeans that I bought =)

I can glue myself to the sofa watching tv whole day. This explains why I'm wearing spectacles =)

Life back in the Dreadful Land

yeap... i'm back in THE dreadful land. No longer enjoying myself at home. No more 24-hour hook up to the tv and streamyx. Bye bye to comfort and joy. Hello to sorrow and bzness. Still praise God, i'm here =)
After two months away from jay-bee, there seem to be pretty much changes happening around. Two months ago, the road in front of utm back gate was still under construction. Two months after, it's rolling smooth. Two months ago, there's trees at the road side. Two months after, i only see a piece of empty land there. Two months ago, i stayed in this hot and humid double room. Two months after, i'm living in an apartment! haha...
Things didn't flow the way i thought it will starting the moment i reached jb airport. There's this friend of mine who suppose to pick me up at the airport. She was the one who offered to fetch me at the airport in the first place and she was also the one who splashed cold water at me... take note.. AT THE VERY LAST MINUTE! When the plane just landed, somehow deep down in my heart, I have this feeling that something isn't right. Kids at home, don't ever try doing this but I secretly on-ed my hp and sms-ed her to tell her the plane landed dy. I was afraid she'll forget about coming over to fetch me.
There weren't any sms coming in when I on-ed my hp in the plane. There weren't any sms coming-in several minutes before I decided to sms her. And there weren't any replies from her until 5 minutes later, if i'm nt mistaken. I was overjoyed seeing that she had replied my sms but darn... the contents inside were a total disappointment!
"I'll fetch you at 7pm later. Do you want to wait until 7pm? If don't want then you just take taxi back to utm lah. Sorry yah. C u around"
I was thinking, "Is this a joke?"... at that time, it was only 5.40pm! It's ok if she cnt fetch me at 6pm but why cnt she just tell me EARLIER??!!? And... if she cnt get through me, why not just send me one short sms? I mean, look at how she plans things. One word describes all. Terrible.
I wont be angry if she cant make it to the airport. It's fine with me. What i'm angry about is her atiitude. Gosh... she never bother to inform me UNTIL i sms her... if i din sms her, i might be waiting there like an idiot for 90 minutes!
I always try to find someone to pick me up at jb airport NOT because i want to save money on the SUPER EXPENSIVE taxi fares... it's because i dont want to see myself in danger later on... there's sooo many negative issues related to taxi drivers. I'm just thinking prevention is better than cure. Sumo, i'm alone. Grrr.....

Called my parents and sis. Complain inside out. Taxi driver was scared of me... haha... When i cooled myself down, I talked with the taxi driver. Can see the taxi driver felt much more relief when i started talking to him. Haha...

Early Gift

I've got an early birthday gift today! Yay!! Nicely wrapped and put into Aussino bag. Hmm.. Isit a pillow? Or isit a bed sheet? Or a towel? All these wild guesses flooded into my mind for a sec.


Inside of the Aussino bag, you see... ah.. brown color thing and that looks exactly like a brown color pillow to me.

Again, I got cheated this year! When am I going to be smarter?!!? Lol... The Mistress from Zerg colony cheated me by telling me that her colony needs a bag. Big bag. Without any curiosity, I fall deep into the trap. I helped her chose bags after another, without realising that she's actually trying to know my taste of bags. Now, when I come to think of it, why am I so blur to the point that July's the month I should be more alert?!!? Lol... what a bummer.. haha. Anyway, it was indeed a surprise =D

One good point about this bag is that I get to sort out my things easily with the three spacious compartments provided. I no longer have to search like a maniac whenever I try to find my car keys. Tested and tried, I can put 1 litre bottle of water, handphone, camera, purse, umbrella, make-up stuff, big comb, towel and even my laptop! Cool eh...

Adding to my collection of bags, I have F. Timber Gucci-like mini bag, brandless green color aunty bag, brandless green color stylish round bag, 2 white color F. Timber mini bags, one nike bag, one brandless special occasion black color bag and now... this... beloved F. Timber white color stylish big bag. Haha... I think I better stop shopping for bags but I just cant stop myself from buying more each time I see nice ones!! Gosh.. who's willing to help me kill this habit of mine?

Love this bag. And it's given from my dear friends so love it even more. But there's just one thing. I think someone forgot to take off the.... price tag!! Lol...


Okay... so now that I know someone's more blur than me! Haha... and just who is that someone? *thinking...*


Short talk: Love this bag and appreciate all the efforts that Zerg colony tried to get me speak up. Haha. Anyway, this is my first time receiving gifts with price tag so it's kinda cool. Lol... Gonna wait till the day comes then only I'll officially use it. Right now, the bag is just gonna be displayed with the concept "See and no touch".

My Celebrity Look-alikes

While browsing through blogs, something very particular caught my attention. It's MyHeritage. It has face recognition whereby we just need to upload our personal pictures and MyHeritage will show to you your celebrity look-alikes. Cool rite? Haha... Had fun uploading various piglet pics but most were rejected due to invalid face scanning ='(

So finally I came up with an idea! Presenting my celebrity look-alikes... *drum rolls*... Ta-da!!

Oklar... I know.. I know... I edited it. I uploaded my own picture. Then used certain tools to copy and paste my piglet pic thr. =D

New York Cheese Cake

Ingredients:

• 15 graham crackers, crushed
• 30g melted butter
• 1kg cream cheese
• 270g white sugar
• 200ml milk
• 4 eggs
• 230g sour cream
• 15ml vanilla extract (optional)
• 30g all-purpose flour

Methods:

1. Preheat over to 180 degrees. Grease a 9 inch springform pan.
2. In a medium bowl, mix graham crackers and melted butter. Press onto bottom of springform pan. Set aside.
3. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese with sugar until smooth. Blend in milk, and the mix in eggs one at a time, mixing just enough to incorporate. Mix in sour cream, vanilla and flour until smooth. Pour filling into prepared crust.
4. Steam-bake in preheated oven for an hour. Turn the oven off, and let cake cool in oven with the door closed for 5-6 hours(depends on the cake texture). Chill in refrigerator until serving.

Mouse Is a Nurse

Are you sick and tired of eating all sorts of pills early in the morning? At least I do. Mind you, I'm not sick. Those are just health supplements. Lol...

Since young, I never like taking solid-form medicines/supplements. They'll basically stuck at my throat. No matter how much water I drink, I can feel THAT pill is somewhere in the middle of my throat. It will be so stubborn that it'll continue to stay comfortably there despite drinking glasses after glasses of water.

Mouse always tell me to take supplements. "It's for your own good". Haha... Okay.. I know I know. It's for my own good. But if there's any slight possibilities that I can escape from all this, I'll escape. As far as possible. Far away from all these supplements. I don't like eating them and neither they want them to be eaten by me! Haha...

Mouse always try to make sure I take the supplements every morning. And happen to be that on this particular day, I woke up late. She could not wait for me any longer coz she's in a hurry to go office yet very desperate indeed to remind me to eat those supplements.

Bakings

For the past few days, I been baking a lot. Knowing that I'll be going back to jay-bee soon, I decided to make full use of my time with my baking experiments. Haha... First and foremost, my custard bun. Keke... Since young, I love custards... anything that deals with custard, I'll like.



The texture was soft and is exactly the same taste like the ones I buy in bakery shop except mine was nicer. ("Wah... such thick face people oso got!") Why? Coz there's more custard on my buns!!

Somehow I always have this habit of doing other things when my cookies or buns are in the oven. Ended up, I have "sun-burnt" custard buns. ='(


Up next is my donut. I baked 2 batches of donuts in a day coz the first batch wasn't successful. I used two different recipes and turns out that the 2nd recipe was a success.

Other than these, I've baked almond chocolate chip cookies, butter muffins and cacat spongecakes (I think that's my fifth or sixth attempt dy). Didn't manage to snap a few photos. If you're interested to get the recipes from me, do tell me, k? =)

Jom Makan-Makan!

Carrying the theme "Jom Makan-Makan(Come, let's eat!)", the event was held at the open space beside Boulevard, Miri. Lasted for 3 days starting 29 June till 1 July. And yes, I know, late post. Hehe

The whole event was about introducing Malaysia's local food to the citizens, I suppose. There's approximately 50 stalls selling different kinds of food all the way from the top of Peninsular Malaysia to the Borneo Island. You name it, You got it! Famous Malaysia cuisine like... ermm... otak-otak, asam laksa, chicken curry... were among the top few on the "most-wanted list" by Mirians.

I was not looking forward to all the Malay food coz I can basically get it in jay-bee. What I was looking forward to was the Italian food by Frattini's, Mariott Hotel, Grand Palace Hotel and Mega Hotel. I pushed myself towards the crowd but when I reached the front of their stalls, this is what they told me. "Sorry Miss, come back after an hour. Out of stock currently.Thanks for coming"

Yeah.. you're welcome. And I bought nothing ='(

Anyway, walking around empty-handed, I took some pics using my camera phone. The pictures aren't so clear coz mine isn't the expensive, up-to-date phone. With 0.3 megapixel camera, what more can you expect? Lol... I was afraid of taking pictures public-ly so what I did was pretend to go near those stalls, pretend to look around the food they sell, then slowly take out my phone and "ka-cak"... the next second, I'm already at another stall.
