Too bad, no "bai nian" thing going on today... T.T Chinese New Year is just two months away. Yet, I have not... repeat... HAVE NOT... purchase my airtics. If there's no tics for me, FINE... I'll go elsewhere. Hmmph...

Do I Miss Malaysia?

I'm thinking... when was the last time I actually spoke "Encik, Puan..." or hear people converse in Malay? When was the last time I watched Malay shows or movies? When was the last time I hear Malay songs on the radio or tv?

Now, there's everything right in front of me. The people, the language, the tv shows, the radio channels, the songs...

Do I miss Malaysia?

Look at the politics. Look at the petrol price. I cant help it but things in Malaysia is really... really expensive.

There's soo many potential Malaysians but the government basically just drives those talented people to foreign countries.

The security. The safety issue. The traffic jams. The public transportation. The air. The living.

The ansiwer is.... YES. I STILL miss Malaysia. I miss Malaysia simply because my friends and family members are in Malaysia whereas I'm stuck at the border across... I miss Malaysia because of the food! I miss Malaysia because I get to find more friendly people here. (At least in Sarawak) I miss Malaysia because that is where I'm being brought up. I miss Malaysia because that is where my home lies.

I'll be back home tomorrow!! Yes, it's the freaking Friday. AirAsia will be opening direct flight Miri - Singapore soon! That will be an extra mile of convenience for me to head back home. To all the taxi drivers at JB custom, hope you're "enjoying" this piece of news. You guys have been cheating innocent citizens' money soo much that now, it's pay back time!

Kakuro

I'm sure almost 99% knows Sudoku. It keeps your brain working 24-7 coz it's rather addictive. I've tried playing Sudoku several times but dozed off after 20 minutes... =.="

Recently, I was being introduced to playing Kakuro. Got this... as a gift from friend.


"Hot on the heels of Sudoku comes Kakuro. Think of them as the mathematical equivalent of crosswords. A Kakuro consists of a playing area of filled and empty cells similar to a crossword puzzle. Some black cells contain a diagonal slash from top left to bottom right with numbers in them called "the clues". A number in the top right corner relates to an "across" clue and one in the bottom left a "down" clue.

The object of a Kakuro is to insert digits from 1-9 into the white cells to total the clue associated with it. However no digit can be duplicated in an entry. For example the total 6 you could have 1-5, 2-4 but not 3-3." [excerpted from anonymous website]

Trust me. It can be as addictive as Sudoku. Or more, perhaps? Cause I'm already 100% addicted to it... >.<

Piglet would like to wish all of you...


I want to go "bai nian" (visiting) soo badly. I love those curry, rendang, satay prepared by them. Those new year cakes and cookies... the colorful layer cakes, choc cakes, cheese cakes... arghh... I want to go home so badly, but I cant.

All I can do now, is to picture myself at home, going for visitation on the first day of raya.
