Another H1N1 case in Singapore?

It has been confirmed that a 22-year-old lady who has just returned from New York is infected by H1N1. This is the first confirmed case in Singapore. When everyone is extremely alert towards the symptoms, I fall sick.

Oh great!

Just when I need time the most, I fall sick. Darn... 1 June 2009 is a rather important date in my life and it would probably change my future. And yet, I'm sick. Argghh.... feels like screaming now.

My work is piling up as high as a mountain and deadlines are real tight. I've been rushing my work today, just to make sure I stay ahead of the expected schedule. But with such condition, I only manage to stay ahead of schedule for a day... Rather pathetic, I know.

I went to see a doctor and he was shock to see my body temperature went up to 38.4 degrees. Haha... If it goes up again, I might need to be sent into ward. Hmm, come to think of it, I wonder how it feels like to be admitted into hospital with ambulance sending me there! Ok, I'm starting to drift to other places.

The doctor was kind enough to offer me two days of MC. If deadlines isnt that tight, I would be soo delighted. Two days OFF! But... the situation does not allow me to do so. I just need to get a real good rest tomorrow and make sure I'm fit enough for work on Friday. Else, I'll need to OT next week... *wails*

On my way to the clinic, I was telling my friends that I might contribute to being the second confirmed H1N1 case in Singapore. Then, I'll be quarantined for seven days and my face will be all over the media. Pretty cool and I'll be famous. Haha... *slaps forehead*... stop dreaming =)


Desperately need a rest now. Time to sleep like a pig...
