As usual, it's Monday blues. The weather's great. Looking out the window, I see Sentosa. Well, not exactly Sentosa. But... part of it. Haha... you'll know when you're here in my room.

Did I ever say that I've got this really perfect view from my room? Oh well... I'm craving for bbq chicken wings now! Haha... such random post that I know I actually just bored you to death. LOL... I wanted to post about some things... a series of unfortunate events but on second thought, I'm lazy. =.="

Latest Gadget

What is it?

It's something with a red nose.

And with a small little "hat" on top.

It's the Doraemon!! Like what I've told you before, I got this really cool 3D puzzle gift from my bestie. I tried to assemble everything together this morning and ta-da... it's done! Satisfied with my work, I'm going to bring that to office.

It took me approximately 30minutes to get everything done. What do you expect from a 60-piece-puzzle. The instruction manual weren't much of a help. So I had to figure it out on my own. It isnt that tough. I love it a lot! Hugs and kisses to my new toy. And, it isn't cheap ok. RM120 and I'm not kidding.

In the mean time, I'll just let Doraemon be placed in between my Wii and my TV. Haha... that's to keep him company.

Kinokuniya

It's Saturday!! And you will never believe where I will be going later on. Even I myself was startled by this impromptu move. LOL.

I'm heading back to office. And yes, I know... it's Saturday!! A place which is banned from going during weekends. It's not what I want, ok. But work needs to be done. Bo bian

Anyway, I'm thinking of heading to Kinokuniya after I get my work done. From west travel all the way to central is quite a distance. But I'd love the idea of spending my Saturday evening with a book on my left and a glass of water on my right. Find a perfect spot, grab my beloved book. You know what I mean? Nah...

Oklar, I need to (at least) get a life here. I know. I'll be out with friends at night. To where, I dont know. But we'll be finding one nice place for dinner. Hmm... speaking of food makes me hungry.

Piling Up Like a Mountain

Argh... my brain works so slow that I think it'll take me ages to finish it! Darn... I'm hoping to see Doraemon giving me his "ka-chang"(tools) to make my brain work faster. Lol. Facing all those xml tags 8 hours a day will probably gives me xml dream at night.Duh =.="

It's Thursday and tomorrow is Friday! F-R-I-D-A-Y!!! Yay... Time to sleep late and wake up late. But not this week perhaps? Bacause I think I might be going back to office to work this weekend... *wails*

Bo bian. Work's work. And it's piling like higher and higher. Bright side, I just got my payslip! Woo hoo!!

Office-less

Laptop's Microsoft Office died few days ago. So, I "cleared" it away, hoping to get a new MO. Previously it was MO2003 so I thought why not install MO2007.

And so... I installed.

And... it failed.

With the error 1402. Darn... I've deactivate the user admin permission. I run as administrator. And I even change some other settings that might resolve this error problem. Tried whole night but still, tak ada harapan langsung (no hope).

Haiyah... guess I better reformat my laptop cause I suspect I might have accidentally deleted one of the registry key when I deleted my MO2003.

Fine. Just reformat it.

But I'm lazy!!! *wails*

The whole process will basically just kill me. Haha... You know, backup, format, reboot, install, restore, etc... apu. You wouldn't like it. Trust me.

Tiring Weekend

I'm sick... T.T

All because of the tiring weekend to KL. It was just another random trip there. Another supposedly sweet escape but turned out to be a disaster. High fever and sore throat are what I got back in return. Still, I'm glad I went.

Why?
Because I ate really nice food at this Japanese Steakhouse.
Because I bought a dress that I have been searching high and low all this while.
Because I got a 3D puzzle gift from my bestie!!

Three positive for the change of one negative. Still it's a good deal wat... haha.

I just got back from work. Tired and sleepy. Gahh... There's so many questions lingering in my head now. Why this.... why that. Which is why I always think that thinkers do not live long. Thinkers tend to think more. You'll see:

Anyway. Happy moments are here very soon. Looking forward to it! And the happy moments I'm referring to is... my short trip to KL to meet up with friends!! Yay...

Buffet Buffet 永远吃不肥

How I wish the statement is true. I just came back from farewell dinner for Jason. Another colleague is leaving us. It's his last day, so we actually had a farewell dinner together with all the other teammates.

With soo many restaurants to choose at Jurong Point, we settled down at Kuishin-bo. It's a Japanese buffet restaurant, serving generous portion of Snow Crab! I was busy eating those crabs the whole night. This is my second time to Kuishin-bo and I dont think I'd want to go there the third time. Once, it's good. Twice, it's enough. Third time, sorry-lah.

Anyway, best wished to Jason. He's moving on to another new journey. Becoming a teacher isn't easy in Singapore, you know. So many complaints to handle. So many stress given to the teachers to ensure the education quality. Ain't that easy.

Hungry

Yes, I'm hungry now. Not because I've not taken my dinner. Once I think of hot steamed pao, my stomach starts to rumble. I want to eat P.A.O!!

I'm thinking of dim sum buffet at the moment. Aww... I miss my pao so much. I love buns and bread and paos so much that I will never get sick of eating those everyday. Poor me can never make nice soft pao. No matter how hard I try, my pao will deflate once it's out from the hot steamy boiler. =.="

Haiyah... if only there's a box filled with paos in front of me now...

I thought I saw a Tweety Bird

I'm feeling very dizzy now. These few days, my headache sort of killed me. Oh, landlord isn't around until Wednesday. So... yeap, I'm happy about it! I have more freedom at home. And I get to stay in the living room the whole night. Try to imagine staying in the room once you get back from work.

Prison life.

Gahh...

Still very the dizzy. Help me...

Roomie wont be around as well for the coming two weekends. Off for vacation, she went. So off I go, as well to KL. But next weekend, my room is gonna be pretty empty.

So who wants to come over to Singapore for a sleepover? LOL... I'll be delighted to host any for you.

Shopping Spree

I was suppose to blog yesterday but was too tired after I got back home. This weekend is totally a blast for shopaholics. Despite the current recession, people are still rushing to exchange "gold" with goods.

This weekend there's been really crazy sales.

Bodyshop sales!

And most of the sales are located at Suntec convention hall. IT fair itself has drawn thousands of people to Suntec. What more to say Bodyshop and Burberry sales! There were so many people trying to squeeze through just to get to the front of the counter to have a closer view of the bag selections.

735 dollars for a bag is really a good deal, considering it's Burberry. Not any random Guess or Carlo Rino bags. I did not buy, of course. Come to think of it, why are people always lovey-dovey about LV or other branded bags? Is it because it's LV? Or is it because of the design?

With all the crazy sales going around, how can I let myself walking out of Suntec empty handed?!! Well, I've bought myself a microphone for my Wii!!! It was definitely a very good deal. Now, I can sing and dance with my Wii. *excited* All I can say is... when I got out from Suntec, I almost became a mashed potato.

Is it the Truth

As of what was reported in the papers? Did Dr. Allan Ooi really suicide because of personal relationship? There's been so many speculations about his death. And it was reported that the "ga-va-men" is trying to hide certain truth about it.

News in the papers may be "bringing us to the brighter side", sometimes. I do not know the exact truth but thanks to wayangparty, they're willing to spread the truth. And fight for the truth. My deepest condolence to Dr. Alex Ooi.

In his last letter, he wrote many things and some were very clearly stated the reason why he chose to end his life in such a way.

"My job was terrible - no joy, no satisfaction."

"12 years of bonded service became potentially 15 or 16, became unbreakable."

"That was certainly the main cause of my severing of ties."

Aiyah...

Maybe he was in the depression state.

Or maybe he sees no future in his own life.

Maybe...

Nobody knows.

Suicide is not the short cut to put things to an end. To think so is stupid. To act so, is foolish. You'll just bring more pain, hurt, and regrets to others. Especially your loved ones. There's nothing that we cant solve. It's just a matter of how we look at the problems.

If there's a will, there's a way. For sure!

After months in Singapore, friends and relatives were saying that I got fatter.

And lots more. But I'm just too lazy to copy, paste, resize, edit, and resize again all the pictures taken. There's just soo much to try yet so little space in my tummy. Hmm... I thought cows suppose to have 4 stomachs?

Haiyah... dont bother. I just want to eat. And I love buffet soo dearly, with all the varieties for me to choose! Aargh... I want to go buffet at Fullerton. But none is keen to go. Hmmph...

After writing this, I think I'll be having supper tonite. Or dream of food with saliva all over perhaps? LOL...

Ants Attack

To wake up 5-20 every weekday morning is a torture. To be alert towards what I'm doing from 5-20 to 6-20 is also a torture.

The only thing that isnt a torture is to drink plain water. But today, it became a torture as well.

Because I saw ants swimming happily in my water bottle.

Come to think of it, I'm not sure how many ants that actually went down my throat this morning.

Urghh...

The weather's been very good today. Nice cool breezy weather. Just the way I like it to be. And, perfect weather for sleeping too. Aww.... but I was stuck in the office.

Things went pretty normal today. It's becoming a routine lifestyle and I think it's time for me to find some spark to push away this dull life.


Dinner was light, as usual. I always wanted to have something light but most of the time will head downstairs for dessert an hour later. =.="

I just cant stop myself craving for more desserts. I've been thinking about cakes, muffins, bread, buns, tarts, pies, cookies, etc. Any home made bakings will do. This, I promise. Now can I have just one freshly baked muffin please?

My stomach is rumbling again

Woke up this morning. Washed my clothes. And drank... Lactose.

Chris was telling me I got fatter. T.T big time... OK... I know. Just take a look at my meals yesterday.

Morning breakfast at 9 - simple and light breakfast
Lunch at 1pm - fried fish noodle served in big portion
Hi tea at 4pm - oreo cheesecake and italian soda
Dinner at 7pm - hong kong noodle and wonton
Supper - NO WAY!!

No.Wonder.Me.Got.Fatter.

In and out of the toilet I go. How I wish I can move THE bowl into my room. EEeewwwWWww.... *vomits*

Taking AA like a Nobody's Business

Man... Now I understand why. I think I should stop using AA and give myself an upgrade to MAS or SIA?

Haha... what a joke. No way. Being a cheapskate, I'd rather save for other BETTER purposes like.. ermm... food? I've planned all my "honeymoon" with AA throughout the whole year. Even if it means going back Miri for just two ridiculous days.


And, more trips coming up. But my annual leaves are killing me. Work is not fun. And I'm still thinking why some enjoys working in the office 24-7. Don't they go out for dates? =.=" Even a simple afternoon tea with friends is way lot better than staring in front of the computer. Wait... maybe it's because of their workaholic attitude that brings them a luxurious income.

Ah... so much to say. Yet so little time. I wanted to share more about retrenchments in Singapore but it has become a piece of rather stale news by now. Then, I wanted to share about Chinese New Year but I'm not in the mood of talking CNY. And it's already more than a month after CNY.

Anyway.

It's Saturday. I just want to have fun and relax before Monday comes. Let me just continue playing my WII and hunt for desserts .

There's so much more in life. Stop whining. Go get yourself a LIFE. If you come to a dead end, don't think it's the end of the world. There's always a U-Turn.

Project 365

I stumbled upon several blogs doing this... "Project 365" thing. Sounds interesting but I was just wondering; will this be part of the motivation to keep my blogging every two or three times per week?

There's so many things to blog about. I tried to keep myself blogging. Always. But it fails big time.
